As we draw to the close of another remarkable year at the BEST Foundation, I want to take a moment to personally thank each of you. Your unwavering support, collaboration, and enthusiasm have been at the heart of everything we’ve accomplished in 2024.

Together, we’ve reached exciting milestones, including another inspiring conference. This year’s conference was truly a highlight. Held at the iconic Concorde Conference Centre, the event brought together a community driven by innovation and inspiration. Our exceptional speakers – Chris Brindley MBE, Paul Cheetham Karcz, and Rebecca Adlington OBE – delivered insights that left us all feeling energized and motivated. I’m thrilled to share that plans are already underway for our third event, and we can’t wait to share more details with you in the new year.

Another standout achievement has been the success of our Development Pathway. This initiative has taken off with incredible momentum, and it’s been a privilege to work alongside outstanding contributors to help shape the future of our profession.

We’ve also continued to build on our core initiatives, such as the recent Mental Capacity Month, and strengthened vital connections by engaging with key organizations like the Land Registry and the Office of the Public Guardian. These efforts reflect our deep commitment to fostering a thriving, collaborative community of estate planning professionals while driving meaningful change where it matters most.

Looking ahead to 2025, our mission remains clear. We will continue to champion initiatives that bring fresh perspectives into the industry and ensure the BEST Foundation remains a hub for innovation, growth, and professional development.

Thank you for being an indispensable part of this journey. Your support fuels our vision and inspires us to reach even greater heights.

Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful holiday season and a prosperous New Year.
